The Data Analytics team is involved in several key activities to support the Risk Management and Payments functions at Facebook. Most analysis typically starts by asking the right business questions. We then formulate and translate these business questions into structured analyses that involve large sets of data. Examples of analysis include identifying primary drivers of losses by deriving business insights, rapidly developing solutions to arresting fraud attacks, understanding metrics and levers that improve operational efficiency etc. At the Dublin Facebook Office, we are looking for an Operational Data Analyst who will strongly influence the operational workflow by developing and institutionalizing a data-driven analysis culture. The analyst’s primary role will be to create alerts/leads, prioritize queues and manage the operational workforce by developing business metrics, reporting dashboards and algorithms. The analyst will work closely with teams across the company (on different sites) including Engineering, Product, Monetization, and Operations. This position is full-time and located in our Dublin office.
