Facebook is seeking a Team Lead to help build and manage the team of online sales representatives supporting Facebook’s advertising solutions to online advertisers in Germany. You’ll assume general management responsibilities while serving as a cross functional liaison; working with product, engineering, sales, business development, marketing and finance to drive Facebook’s most important strategic priorities. In this fast-paced environment, you will wear many hats, providing guidance and direction in multiple functional areas. You should be comfortable with change and passionate about general management. This position is located in our Dublin office.

Responsibilities

* Play a critical role in building, training and managing a high performing online sales organization * Manage a high-performing team of highly talented and motivated individuals * Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team * Help drive constant improvement and iteration * Develop scalable operations solutions to support Facebook’s advertisers in Germany * Scale your team by capitalizing on opportunities for increased effectiveness and efficiency by driving key automation and productivity initiatives * Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of the department, and provide reports as needed * Execute projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategy development * Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service

Requirements

* Fluency in written and conversational German and English * Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills * Experience leading teams in fast paced organizations – Online sales/marketing experience is preferred * Substantial experience of people management * Deep knowledge of online business models and Internet/consumer technology, a deep understanding of online advertising is a must * Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships inside and outside Facebook * Proven track record of high achievement and success * Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized * Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment * A passion for Facebook
