Softworks develops and markets its own product suite which are both desktop and web based. Softworks is currently seeking software engineers to join an existing team of developers. The team develops both for client specific requirements and for the core product.
Technologies
- Borland Delphi
- Microsoft C# / ASP .NET
- Web technologies, HTML, DHTML and Javascript
- Oracle, SQLServer, MySQL
Primary Objectives
Working with the team leader, you will be responsible for the ongoing development of core and customer specific elements of the product suite. You will also contribute to the design and development of new modules within the system. The position will also involve a certain level of business-requirements analysis and this may involve direct contact with customers.
Duties include
- Systems analysis,
- Specification and design,
- Development of core product,
- Research and development,
- Issue investigation,
- Software maintenance,
- Documentation,
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years software development experience
- Minimum 1 year within a Delphi, C#, ASP.NET environment
- Experience in working in an n-tier web development environment
- Working knowledge of SQL and database design
- Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills
