Client Services Custody Senior Rep
The Client Service Representative is responsible for ensuring proper servicing of commingled investment portfolios by Operations.
Responsibilities
• Oversee all activity processed by Operations across their clients’ accounts. Follow up with Operations on any issues which arise.
• Respond to client inquiries and proactively anticipate clients’ needs.
• Know when to escalate issues to their supervisor or higher if required.
• Establish a partnership with their clients, learn their business and act as a dedicated resource to meet all of their daily investment management related needs within the group
• Build and maintain a client relationship profile, which can be shared with senior management and other offices.
• Organise and participate in regular service review meetings with clients.
• Utilize the firm’s technology solutions in an effort to effectively and efficiently manage client inquiries.
• Analyse client activity to try and maximize opportunities for us to work with the client, as well as introducing the clients to relevant products.
• Perform analysis on activity over the clients’ accounts: STP rates, communication methods, Inquiry Manager usage, etc.
• Learn about the group, its products and services, as well as other clients serviced by the Dublin office.
• Contribute to improvement and productivity of the client team and our standards of service.
Requirements
• Third Level degree, preferably in a related field
• 1-2 yrs custody experience, with emerging markets experience a plus
• High degree of analytical ability
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
• Ability to build relationships with client(s)
• Knowledge of Excel and other MS Office products
• Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
