Life Coordinator - Insurance - Dublin

Senior Life Coordinator – Financial Services – Dublin
The job holder will be responsible for:
Life administration activities with focus on project work, system development, product development support and technical support.
Typical responsibilities:
• Supporting and driving life operations development
• Project work
• Systems development
• Translation work / document review as appropriate
• Premiums advice / assistance
• Technical support and training for outsourced functions
• Preparation and dispatch of customer new business packs and relevant supporting documentation
• Assisting with telephone requests
• Effective co-ordination with business partners
• Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and to assist different work functions as management deem appropriate
• Initiative when dealing with issues but good understanding of when to escalate/ seek assistance
• Ability to assist and deputise for Operations Manager as required
• Follow relevant procedures in accordance with Group Standards Manual and Functional Instruction Manuals
• Broad number of projects and developments with challenging deadlines
• Keep up to date with industry practice and regulation
Experience Required:
• Degree qualified
• Strong experience in cross border Life Insurance industry
• Project experience (Product Launch)
• Excellent organisational with ability to work on own initiative and prioritise work
• Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills
• Good PC skills – MS Office (Excel, Word, Access etc)
• Understanding of principles of Life Insurance
• Understanding of European/UK/Irish Regulations governing Life Insurance Industry
• Solid experience in a customer facing role or processing environment
• European language skills an advantage (Italian, German, France, Polish)
