Part- Time TV Advertising Sales Executives Required
at country roadshow (Anywhere)
We are currently seeking sales executives to fill advertising space for a new Irish country music based TV show. Candidates must have previous sales experience, preferably in the media industry.
Each episode of the show will be based in a different county in Ireland, and will promote the local area whilst keeping the focus on country music. Due to the low costs at which we can sell the adspace, local as well as national businesses can be targeted.
We are currently in Pre Production, however filming for the first two episodes will commence in mid October and our first episode is premiering on the 20th December on Showcase TV, which is available on Sky 201 and Freest 406.
As our first 2 episodes are from Mayo and Tyrone, applicants from and/or with business contacts in these areas will have an advantage, although confident telesales persons from other areas, both Ireland and the UK, should apply as much of our target audience will be UK based and national firms, as well as local, will be targeted.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Growing advertising revenue by finding new clients
2. Selling to direct clients
3. Building on relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
Skills Required:
The ideal candidate must possess the following skills:
Target driven
Self motivated
Enthusiastic
Excellent communicator
Good negotiation skills
Team player
Currently this position is commission only, however with 32 minutes of advertising to fill per month and with ads starting at just €200 per 20 second slot, there are excellent earning potentials for the right candidates.
