Accounts Payable (Maternity Leave Cover)
at Country Manor Bricks in Dublin City North
Duties Include:
Posting and approving of all Purchase Invoices
Reviewing attached goods in documentation and ensuring that these are signed especially transport invoices as they are needed for back up on Debtors Invoicing
Reviewing attached Purchase orders and follow up on any queries/discrepancies with staff /suppliers.
Set Invoices up for payment
Ensuring suppliers are paid within agreed credit terms
Reconciliation of Vendor Statements
Preparation and processing of accounts payable cheques and bank transfers
Ensuring that these are approved in a timely manner
Preparation of remittances for Suppliers
Monitor accounts to ensure that payments are up to date
Preparation of monthly Bank Reconciliations
Follow up on queries from Suppliers and resolve discrepancies
Assist on month end accounts
Taking phone messages where sales team are with customer
Individual:
3-5 years accounts payable experience in a similar role
Strong Excel skills and computerised accounting packages
