Human Resources Manager - 12 Month contract
at CPG Executive Consulting in Dublin City South
Position Summary Supports the mission of the organization by administering human resources policies &
procedures and providing strategic human resources support in the areas of staffing, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management. Is responsible for compliance with local labour legislation.
Main Responsibilities
• Partner with business managers in Dublin and UK to deliver an excellent HR service
• Influence and challenge managers while providing value-added HR service
• Work with counterparts in other countries to implement global initiatives
• Ensure a consistent, process driven approach to recruitment throughout the sites in line with business objectives.
• Oversee Orientation programme covering pre employment to probation completion.
• Partner managers to ensure organisational development, define training needs and training plan.
• Manage Dublin Mentoring programme
• Provide ongoing training on people management, performance management & employment legislation topics.
• Ongoing consultation and coaching for managers on proactive performance management.
• Develop and implement policy and procedure in line with global corporate policy, current legislation and best practice. Respond to inquiries regarding legislation, policies, procedures and programs.
• Project manage any local HR initiatives
• Provide consultation and education for managers on dealing with employee relations issues, applying corporate policy and relevant legislation.
• Support managers in applying grievance and disciplinary procedure, act as a mediator and carrying out formal investigations on grievances raised.
• Project manage any redundancy programmes, transfer of undertaking initiatives or office closures etc.
• Handle employee litigations and represent the company before the labour courts.
• Apply company compensation and benefits policies. Help to maintain consistency and fairness of individual compensations.
• Monitor and act upon turnover, role outsourcing, exit interview results, performance review completion, overtime, sick leave.
• Work in conjunction with HR Admin and Payroll, signing off on Monthly Payroll
• Manage reception and facilities team.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) Human resource management or equivalent CIPD qualification
• 5 years related experience in a multinational environment
• Must have strong employee relations experience.
• Must be very computer savvy with MS Office
• Must have knowledge of Irish Employment Law, UK employment law would be beneficial
• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize workload and manage tight deadlines
• Supervisory experience
