Tour Operator
at Budget School and Group Tours in Dublin City South
Our company is Irelands longest established and leading provider of schooltours in Ireland.
Due to continued and phenomonal growth, we are now recruting a junior member of staff to work on our Operations team. The person will be responsible for groups travelling to the UK and other European destinations. She/he will be responsible for all aspects of the reservations and co-ordination of itineraries of these groups. This person will liase directly with the client, who will mainly consist of school teachers. She/he will take full responsibility for the smooth running of the clients tours, making all reservatins with airlines, ferry companies, hotels/youth hostels, restaurants, agents, musuems, theatres and evening activities.
This position is ideally situated to an individual that is confident and proficient in dealing with the public. A working knowledge of a European language would prove an advantage. This position will only suit a person who, after initial training is capable of working on their own initiative and is highly organised and capable of working under pressure at various times during the year. This position would suit perfectly to an individual who has a tourism degree.
