Opportunities for Senior Life Assurance Professionals at the Centre of the Irish Financial Industry
A career with the Central Bank of Ireland offers an opportunity to work at the centre of the dynamic financial services industry in Ireland at a very challenging time. The Central Bank of Ireland is currently seeking to recruit Senior Life Assurance Professionals for a number of vacancies in our Retail & Wholesale Insurance Supervision divisions.
Key responsibilities for the roles will include the following:
Providing technical support and expert advice to the supervisory teams for life assurance companies.
Supporting on-site inspection teams, including participation in visits to companies.
The Senior Life Assurance Professionals will be responsible evaluating life assurance companies’ risk management including product design, pricing, actuarial considerations, marketing, distribution and corporate strategy. Applications from individuals with a background in the cross-border and/or VA sectors would be particularly welcome.
Applicants must have at least seven years experience working as a senior professional in a life assurance company. A good understanding of current regulatory issues in the insurance industry in Ireland is also highly desirable.
