Summary: The role of Licensing Operations Manager reporting to the Director of Licensing
Administration & Compliance, also part the Global Licensing team, requires a highly
professional, experienced and resourceful Manager who ideally has more than five years
experience in working in a multinational environment. The successful candidate will have
exceptional project management experience, business process and systems knowledge and a
track record of technical solution delivery. Additionally organization & communication skills will
be outstanding. Preferably the candidate will also have industry experience of Intellectual
Property Licensing. The successful candidate will be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft
Office applications and further will have a working knowledge of project reporting
methodologies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Customer Licensing systems and process analysis
• Customer experience benchmarking and on-going development of efficient and
effective customer centric process across licensing administration, release
deliverables, product certification, royalty payment, customer compliance and audit.
• Support Licensing With regular detailed license pipeline management
reporting.
• Support to the Global licensing team through each stage of the Licensing lifecycle
inclusive development and delivery of related training programs
• Drive Process Improvement across all areas of Licensing operations
• Perform regular Licensing Administration activities from contract drafting through to
execution in parallel to Licensing Operations analyst duties.
Education and/or Experience:
• Computer Science, Electronic Engineering degree or similar Engineering degree
essential
• 5+ years in global project teamwork
• Knowledge and experience in an Intellectual Property and/or technology licensing
business would be a distinct advantage
Computer Skills:
• Proficient in MS Office - Word, PowerPoint, Outlook with advanced formula based Excel
Comfortable with Web based Applications such as SharePoint, Oracle and Business
Opportunity Tracking tools
• Ability to travel when required
