About Version 1
Version 1 has exciting opportunities for experienced Oracle Developers. These positions will be part of our project support and development team within Version 1's Business Application Services Practice. We provide complete lifecycle solutions to our customers, helping them to achieve their business objectives by identifying requirements, designing and developing solutions and providing on-going support strategic advice.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, couple with expertise in Oracle development, as well as demonstrable consulting skills, including Requirements Solution Design, development and mentoring and support.
Major duties and Responsibilities:
• Relational database programming
• System Analysis, Development & Design Techniques
• Project Management
• Financial background (accountancy)ideal
Technical Skills and Expertise:
• Oracle forms and reports
• PL/SQL
• Oracle Discoverer
• Excel
• Oracle Financials experience /accountancy system ideal
Personal qualities and competencies:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record of working effectively within a team and displaying good communication skills
• Excellent client interfacing skills
Benefits:
4 months Contract initially, likely further 6mnths
