The Rustic Pizza Company is looking for a passionate Pizza Chef in Cork.
The Rustic Pizza Company is a new pizza restaurant concept in Ireland specializing in a selection of high quality pizzas with emphasis placed on local produce. We are a new concept within the Irish Market and looking for an ambitious, passionate and driven individual to expand the business.
The Job:
As Pizza chef, you will be part of the opening of new chain of pizza restaurants. You will take on responsibility for training of assistant pizza chefs at store level to ensure consistency at all levels. This is a hands on position and there will be very little administrative work. You need to be passionate about pizzas, have a good knowledge of Irish cuisine & good at motivating a team. The Pizza Chef will work 5 days a week with the possibility of split shifts. We are looking for someone who has a good attitude and positive outlook with high standards in both food and hygiene.
Experience:
• You must have at least 2 years or more experience working within a reputable Pizza restaurant
• You have stability within your working career
• Knowledge of all standard procedures of food prep/goods in/storage & hygiene essential. Certificate preferable.
• Fluent English
• Available to work weekends
• Good communication skills
• Menu design and costing knowledge preferable
• Dedicated to the highest level of customer service
• Flair for originality and creativity
• Neat appearance and presentation essential
• You must provide at least 2 positive references
