Rockport currently have a position vacant for an Account Manager -South & West Ireland who will be required to manage an account base in an effective and profitable manner. The successful candidate will required to develop customer relations in all departments, both internally and externally, ensuring budgets, distribution, Share of Buy (SOB) & Share of Space (SOS), are in line with company expectations.
The main purpose of this post will be to implement sales initiatives across Ireland.
As a member of the sales team, the Account Manager is responsible for the achievement of sales targets – units, volume and profit. You must also contribute to the overall development of the team within the given channel, developing and implementing the sales strategies in line with the company goals to deliver the required results.
As an Account Manager you must have a desire to succeed in sales within any environment. You will ideally have proven experience in selling skills and techniques, showing potential to move on and through the sales structure.Candidates who possess experience from a similar trade industry , especially on forward selling, long lead times and an extensive product portfolio are highly desirable.
The successful candidate must also be fully mobile and be able to adapt to any given geographical sales area or situation.
The role profile states Dublin, however this role is based in the South & West Ireland
