Transport Planner
at company based in dublin 15 in Co. Dublin
We urgently require a transport planner for a busy haulage company based in Dublin 15.
Responsibilities of the successful candidate would be as follows:
- Delivery and collection scheduling for national/ international requirements
- Schedule, control and allocate drivers as required
- Ensure all daily customer orders are delivered within the agreed service levels.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in transport planning
- Knowledge of transport regulations i.e. tachographs and driver regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer focused
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent PC skills
- Second language would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.
Salary: depending on experience.
