Techit are recruiting for an experienced IT Field Service Network Engineer to join our Support Team. The team is responsible for providing telephone/remote access helpdesk and on-site support for our expanding client base.
Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
•Logging, trouble-shooting and closing both helpdesk and on-site support calls.
•Installation and Configuration of Servers, Workstations, Routers, Firewalls & VPNs.
Candidate Profile:
•Candidates must have prior experience in a Field Service role for an IT Services Provider
•Candidates will join a team of support personnel supporting an expanding client base
•Candidates must have experience of Windows Server 2003, Windows SBS 2003 and Exchange Server 2003
•Preferred experience in Cisco Routers, PIX Firewalls, VPN set up and configuration
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with good organisation and time management skills. They must also display the ability to take ownership for issues and follow through to resolution.
Education & Qualifications:
•MCSE & CCNA qualification would be preferable
Salary: Salary will be dependent on skills & experience:
Van Provided so full clean driving licence required
