Head Consumer Protection

Have you a keen interest in protecting consumers of financial services? Have you specific experience and a track record at a senior level of delivering positive outcomes for consumers and making a difference in how they are treated? Have you relevant experience either in a senior compliance role or in a regulatory environment?
The Central Bank of Ireland wishes to make an appointment at Head of Division in the Consumer Protection Directorate to lead a division which is responsible for monitoring and enforcing compliance with conduct of business rules which are in place to protect consumers.
Candidates for the position will have a proven track record at management level; an ability to establish and communicate a clear vision and sense of purpose; and have sound judgement on both policy and operational matters. They must be team players who can demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills; have a sound and demonstrable understanding of consumer risk and protection; have strong leadership qualities, with an ability to motivate and inspire a large group of professionals. A high level of relevant academic achievement would be an advantage.
