Energy Engineer

Enerit Ltd (www.Enerit.com), founded in 2004, provides internet software that runs energy management programs using the latest international standards. Target customers are located globally and are brand-name multinational corporations with energy bills of over €1m/year.
Enerit has raised investment to allow growth of Enerit in global markets and the development of a SaaS version of the product. The company has the first product in the world that supports the new ISO 50001 standard. Enerit seeks to build a team to take advantage of this unique opportunity and wishes to hire an Energy Engineer.
Enerit seeks a highly motivated and enthusiastic engineer with a strong educational background in the energy area and an interest in internet software and IT solutions.
This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to gain excellent experience and develop an exciting career in energy efficiency while working on a wide variety of energy management projects.
This job will be based in Galway.
Responsibilities
- Configure internet software to help MNE’s to run energy management programs
- Co-operate closely with world leading energy management consultants
- Participate in the design, development and delivery of Enerit software products
- Participate in the creation of on-line materials e.g. You Tube videos and slideshows on the use of Enerit software and ISO 50001 etc.
- Play a key role in EU R&D projects including travelling to project meetings
Experience and qualifications
- Excellent third level qualification in engineering or relevant science discipline.
- Energy courses taken as part of education.
- Experience in energy management or postgraduate training in energy management would be an advantage
- The candidate’s must display a logical and methodical approach to solving problems.
- Experience of using software and IT solutions and systems
- Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
