Enerit Ltd (www.Enerit.com), founded in 2004, provides internet software that runs energy management programs using the latest international standards. Target customers are located globally and are brand-name multinational corporations with energy bills of over €1m/year.
Enerit has raised investment to allow growth of Enerit in global markets and the development of a SaaS version of the product. The company has the first product in the world that supports the new ISO 50001 standard. Enerit seeks to build a team to take advantage of this unique opportunity and wishes to hire a Web Application Developer.

We are looking for a bright enthusiastic software developer in developing web portal applications using J2EE, DHTML, JavaScript and CSS. This job will be based in Galway, Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deliver world-class, innovative web application software over the internet
- Ensure a good end-user experience
- Perform hands-on development
- Integration with back-end systems
- Deliver projects on schedule
- Work in a team environment with engineers, managers and operations staff.
- Keep up to date with new development platforms and help select the best technologies
Experience & Qualification
Mandatory:
- Excellent third level qualification in computer science or equivalent discipline.
- Web application development experience in Java/J2EE environment.
- Strong experience in front-end development and portal applications using J2EE, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, XML and CSS against W3C standards.
- Experience in developing intuitive user interfaces
- Proven track record of successful delivery of applications to high quality standards
Desirable:
- Experience of cloud computing development environments and platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and an understanding of software development processes
- Experience in developing secure, scalable and high performance enterprise web applications
