Fundraising Officer
at Habitat for Humanity Ireland in Co. Dublin
Overview: In accordance with Habitat for Humanity Ireland’s agreed strategic priorities, the post holder will develop, implement and administer the campaign to raise financial and in-kind donations from grant making bodies, individuals, the corporate sector and major donors.
Key tasks: Reporting to the Executive Director, the post holder will be responsible for significantly increasing donor income, through implementing various fundraising initiatives and developing new fundraising streams. The activities of this role will be supported by the HFH International Office and the HFH Ireland team.
The candidate will maintain the growing donor database to the highest standard, processing all donations and updating records following campaigns; including, and not limited to; processing post, assisting with direct debit and standing order processing and managing online donations.
They will be the main contact with all donors, generating donor communications, answering telephones and responding to donor queries, outbound calls to donors and leads as required. They will set up and attend income generating meetings with potential and current donors.
They will prepare the database for campaigns, post-campaign analysis and perform profiling of donors using the database. They will report on a weekly basis to the ED on fundraising income and activities.
They will be prepared to respond to emergency situations as they arise and to undertake any other tasks as needed.
