Full-time Communications Intern

at Habitat for Humanity Ireland in Co. Dublin

Main Responsibilities:

Monitoring national and international media daily
Updating the organisation’s website and social networking platforms Facebook, Twitter and Youtube
Using and updating AdWords to promote specific projects
Assisting at events and ensuring their successful execution
Maintaining contact with past volunteers including organising a call centre to update them on our activities
Planning and manning information sessions throughout the year
Attending fairs to promote trips and recruit volunteers
Contacting and following up all potential volunteers from sign up events
Liaising with journalists and website administrators to increase awareness of the organisation
Working with the Global Village team to ensure the promotion of all trips
Working with the Local Programme department to process homeowner applications, promote the project and volunteer opportunities
