Senior Software Tester, Dublin City Centre, Contract Long-term €Exc

Vantage Resources are seeking a senior Software Tester to work on a first class long-term assignment with a key international client. This is a team-based role where you will work closely on the Functional Testing of large complex systems covering all test activities with a technically innovative organisation that is a ‘must have' for your CV.
For this contract you will need
Good Unix skills (scripting experience an advantage)
Good Database knowledge with SQL coding skills
Knowledge of FTP
A proven track record in Functional Testing large enterprise level systems
Commercial experience on large test teams - 10 to 20 people
Experience of automated test tools (e.g. Winrunner, Test Director etc)
A meticulous and thorough approach to your work
A self starter who can work on their own initiative, and take ownership of a task and drive it too completion
Have excellent communication skill across the board, be articulate and diplomatic
Your role will cover
Execution and maintenance of detailed test cases
Defect logging and tracking of test cases through to conclusion
Suggest and implement process improvements which will benefit the project
Produce daily updates and regular reports for the Test Manager
Ideally you will have
Any previous experience in a Public Sector environment (extremely beneficial)
A third level qualification
5+ years commercial testing experience
ISEB/ISTQB foundation/practitioner
