Full-time Head of International Sales

Head of International Sales
Location: Cork, Ireland

Position
SensL seeks to hire a head of international sales who will help SensL maximise individual sales in all of our target international markets. SensL products are used in Medical Imaging, Radiation Security, Analytical Instruments and Process Inspection. Our customer base covers OEM, academic and major research centres. The position is open and flexible to suit the individual, the key requirement will be the increase in the individual product sales level, supporting existing and building new sales channels and the identification of appropriate OEM accounts from which to build repeat business.

Responsibilities * Generate sales revenue through the various channels by growing existing accounts and maintaining positive customer relations * Develop and implement plans to conduct lead generation activities in conjunction with channel partners aimed at identifying new account opportunities * Support channel partners with marketing and sales materials including datasheets, manuals, application notes, PR, tradeshows, demo kits, price lists etc. * Daily contact with partners and customers via e-mail, phone and regular visits to monitor their current and future needs * Ensure that channel partners are responding to customer inquiries quickly and provide thorough answers (i.e. quote pricing, technical issues, delivery requests, etc.) * Recognize specific opportunities for potential new OEM’s. Foster and develop such relationships. * Consolidate feedback regarding customers’ needs and requirements and make regular presentations and feedback to Sales and business management on the market requirements * Train sales channel personnel on the unique features and benefits of SensL products * Provide Market Research and Product Marketing feedback based on channel input re customer and market demands * Watch market trends and determine if SensL is competitive in price, products, lead-time, shipping time, customization, etc. * Research competitor market via customer input, Internet, news, trade shows, and industry magazines * Market products (work with marketing group providing input on how/where to advertise, etc.)

Personal Qualifications * Qualifications: Technical background a plus, advanced business degree an advantage.

* Knowledge/Skills: Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and logical manner; Demonstrated strategic selling skills; Highly organized; Team player. Ability to influence and negotiate the direction and strategy of organizations outside your direct control to maximize share of mind and attention for sales of SensL products * Experience: Three years relevant technical experience plus minimum 3 years experience in selling components, modules, and subsystems into the optical equipment industry and 3 years sales management with direct or indirect sales channels including e-marketing experience desired.
