Business Intelligence / .Net Programmer
This is a junior position and is most suitable for candidates that have 1-2 years experience in a similar role. Applications are also invited from recent graduates that have an outstanding academic record and who are interested in enhancing their technical knowledge in a client focused role. The Input Systems range of products includes ERP software, systems integration solutions and business intelligence solutions.
Candidates will be required to work in a fast moving team environment and have the flexibility to work effectively with other parts of the organisation.
This role will provide candidates with client facing experience, development of SQL and technical skills, and experience supporting Microsoft based applications and integrated solutions.
Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Work on existing and new data warehousing solutions which are built on the Microsoft BI Suite of Products (Integration Services, Reporting Services).
• Work as part of the .Net development team, developing new systems as well as maintaining existing solutions.
• Analyse requirements and be proficient in writing optimized SQL Stored Procedures and Queries based on SQL Server Databases.
Essential skills
• Third level qualification in IT.
• Good knowledge of databases (Microsoft SQL Server).
• Proficient in SQL / .Net (C #).
• Some Level of Experience in the area of Business Intelligence.
• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner.
• Ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Excellent organisational skills and time management skills.
• Experience with issue tracking and proactively responding to issues.
Additional / desirable skills
• Client facing experience.
• Experience with ERP software or a wide range of business processes.
