I/T Customer Support Field Service Networking Technician based in Longford supporting clients primarily in Longford, Leitrim, Cavan, Westmeath, and Roscommon. Self managed. Ensure SLA's are adhered to. Manage our clients complete I/T needs for them. Resolve a large proportion of incidents without reference to further support. Plan, configure and install networked Servers, PCs, Software, and peripherals. Manage all aspects of server environments, primarily Microsoft network operating systems third party hosted Linux systems. Troubleshooting of hardware/software/ email and hosting solutions. Windows XP, Server 2003, MS Exchange, Router and Firewall experience required. Email Hosting experience a plus.
Seeking hard working, highly motivated individual with the desire to keep pace with state of the art technologies. Applicant must be able to work well independently, be self managed, very good at documentation and planning and customer follow-up, have the ability to act on their own initiative, work well independently or as as part of a team, and must have a deep concern for customers. Requirements: Cert/Diploma/Degree/City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent, with at least 3 years experience. A full driving license is essential. The successful applicant must be prepared to do call outs and overtime as and when required.
We have one full time position and also one position which would initially be part-time however, as the work demands increase it is very likely to quickly become full time.
