We are looking for a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team. The successful candidate must have experience with a busy enviroment in high quality, fine dining and/or banqueting.
Minimum 2 yrs. Quality experience only.
EU Citizens or Stamp 4. only need apply.
Responsibilities include:
• To prepare various dishes and foodstuffs as required for service.
• To assist in other kitchen departments as when required.
• To operate in a safe and responsible manner with recognised techniques.
• To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene.
• To operate machines and cooking equipment in a reasonable manner.
• To train any staff in the department where applicable and as required.
• To be prepared to undergo any training deemed necessary by the hotel, which will help in the advancement of knowledge and methods.
• To understand the provisions and maintenance of the kitchen services.
• To observe all Health and Safety regulations as applicable to employees: Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005.
• To act in accordance with the hotel fire instructions.
• To ensure that all necessary steps are taken to safeguard company money, goods and assets.
• To observe all house rules and work in a supervisory capacity in the absence of your superior.
• Any other sundry task not mentioned but within the scope of the job.
