at Bond Personnel in Dublin City North
Position: Trader (sports)
Type: permanent & full-time
Location: Dublin City Centre

The job:
Working closely with a team of experienced professionals, you will add to the development and implementation of our client’s sports trading strategy. Your duties will include:
• Manage and trade on live national and international sports betting markets
• Manage all risk, liability and hedging for your portfolio
• Ensure consistent, competitive liquidity levels across all sports markets
• Analyse the overall industry and your competitors and adjust your strategy accordingly to influence future business and product direction
• Assist the Trading Director with the set up of procedures and training and development of staff.
The requirements:
• At least 3 years experience as a Trader, ideally in the area of sports trading, with previous exposure to supervising less experienced colleagues
• 3rd level education in a financial discipline is desired; strong knowledge and keen interest in sports essential
• Strong business acumen, a solid understanding of financial and risk management and strong analytical skills are essential
• Due to the nature of this job, the working hours will vary and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends is essential
